It is with the great Joy that the Gospel Announcer's
guild of the gospel music workshop of America welcomes
gospel music lover from across the globe to Join us in
Honoring dedicated media professionals by voting your
choice in our second annual Crystal Mic Media Awards.
This
gala event premiered last July
at the 40th Anniversary
Luncheon of the Gospel Announcer’s Guild, in the
fabulous, Hall of Mirrors of the downtown Cincinnati
Hilton Hotel and anticipation has been building across
the industry as to who this year's crop of nominees and
winners will be.
Just
as last year The mission of the
GAG Crystal Mic Media
Awards
is to generate an annual
worldwide appreciation for the role of media
organizations, individual professionals and
personalities in the delivery of excellence and
outstanding service to the Gospel Industry.
Since Gospel music’s inception, radio has been the
primary vehicle of reach to generate awareness and
acceptance of this sacred form of music. While many
other forms of media support Gospel, we believe it is
was fitting that radio, through the Gospel Announcer’s
Guild of the Gospel Music Workshop of America
introduced this great honors event to the world.
So
we again invite you to join with us in bestowing these
honors to deserving companies and personalities
throughout Gospel. As a Gospel Music fan you can
participate in the voting.
While the GAG has always presented an annual members
only (“In House”) awards program,
the Crystal Mics
will reach beyond GAG
members only to salute national media for their
contributions to Gospel music. Our “In House” awards
will continue to be voted on site during the 2011 GMWA
National Convention at GAG registration, Saturday,
August 13th, through Tuesday, August 16th, at 3:00 pm.

2011 Crystal Mic Media Awards Gala will climax the 41st
Annual GAG Session on Thursday, August 18th, 2 PM, In
